What Attendees Say

Over the past few years, we have received many messages from grateful members of the community who have enjoyed our concerts. Below is a sampling of the letters we have received:

My wife and I were fortunate enough to hear last night's performance and I must say we were very impressed. Not just by the professionalism, but by the entire organization. What a wonderful orchestra!

- Bo S. on March 11, 2006

"Thank you so much for bringing your orchestra to Taylor. I live in Thorndale and doubt that I would drive to Round Rock or Georgetown in the dark. But I will drive to Taylor and I did. What a wonderful treat it was to have a cultural event that we could attend so close to home and so well done. As Gomer Pyle would say, Thank you thank you thank you."

- Eileen S. from Thorndale

"This morning I listened with great pleasure to every single arrangement you have posted on your website. I have attended most of your concerts including the very first one you conducted in Feb. 2003 in Sun City. Naturally there would be room for improvement as any young orchestra in baby steps would expect, but, I sit here in total amazement. In the short time you have been together the level of talent and enthusiasm has soared. The joy your orchestra brought me that day is heart warming. My thanks to you and the others who have given these fine musicians an outlet for their god given talent. May God continue to bless you and the orchestra with the love for music, the patience and willingness to share your knowledge and the time you so graciously invest to this endeavor. Once again, thank you."

- Mary C. from Sun City

"I was very depressed because last week I lost a friend in Iraq … coming to your concert was so uplifting … thank you very much! (soldier at Ft. Hood)

"I want to personally thank you for performing for my brigade and their families … they were so happy you took the time to present such a wonderful program. (Colonel at Ft. Hood)

" We keep coming back to your concerts because of the wide variety of music you present. There is always something there for everyone! (Anderson Mill)

"You are amateurs??? No Way! You play like professionals! (audience member Anderson Mill)

" It is such a thrill to have you perform at Taylor … many of our residents would never get to see a live orchestra if you did not make the trip … thank you so much! (audience member Taylor)

"Thank you for explaining the different instruments … I did not know what an English Horn was … my children really enjoyed it. (Taylor)

"I attended Friday night's concert and wanted to thank everyone involved in putting the concert together. Having children who've "flown the coop" and family distant, Christmas isn't what it used to be - until your concert. Looking around, I saw what everyone means by "diversity". Not just in the audience, but in the orchestra; young and old, black and white, hip and geek - all working and playing together. Your unity spread to the audience with every vibration that resonated through your instruments. Hanna - your generous solo contribution makes the harp my new favorite. Every note was played perfectly and I was reminded to thank God for his gift of talent shared. Thanks, also, for making me laugh during the kitchen piece. The men were so generous to don their aprons in tribute; an unexpected joy! Thank you all and MERRY CHRISTMAS!"

- Cindy D. - Taylor Concert
